Alternative hosts must have a licensed Zoom account in the same Zoom tenant to be added to your meeting. Use a clear and concise Topic and Description so your participants can easily confirm they are in the right place. Be aware that your meeting Topic will automatically be applied to the waiting room pop up when a participant joins a meeting.
Zoom's invitation is going to send either a .ics file that should be read by Outlook or if you send a meeting invitation to a user with a Gmail domain, it'll send it to their account which they can add to their calendar to Accept/Decline/Tentative status.
